Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia
Acute lymphocytic leukemia produces abnormally high white blood cell counts, and is often misdiagnosed. The symptoms are similar to those previously mentioned and include anemia, bone and joint pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, frequent infections, excessive bruising, and enlarges lymph nodes, spleen, or liver. For proper diagnosis, a bone marrow biopsy is often needed to check for lymphoblasts in the blood.
